Glacier Trail 2018

Post by twotimothytwo » Tue Sep 11, 2018 4:10 pm

Glacier Trail is an event that takes place annually, involving all of Sterling West. It's a competition among the current year's seniors to see who can raise the most amount of money within a certain time period. All have set their own targets and they're committed to achieving their goals! Support our seniors and join in on the fun!

Why post anything in a publicly accessed place that you don't wish everybody to see?

Especially when you are announcing what this big charity push is really all about.....

The writer of this (glacier) post has some gaps in their handling of the English language, from stray apostrophes, wrong participles, missing hyphens...

A pedantic post, perhaps, but educators really need to proof read.

Odd that, because the author Daelin Garlick claims to have been a student of Cambridge University, following his Sterling Education education.

Has anyone else noticed the PBCC's propensity for using names and phrases very similar to those used by other organisations?

Like 'Glacier Trail' for example? Could give the impression that the pupils involved were raising sponsorship for an outdoor adventure, rather than assisting in a 'tax write-off' scheme?

Is that the reason the original page disappeared very quickly, after being spotted?
