Miss Widdowson's parents went, as we did, to the Marlborough Road meeting in Worthing, Sussex, and she would come to visit them. Her father was the leading brother there, and left in 1959 over the "eating matter".

Was "If We Walk in the Light" no t written by Roger's father Robert Stott? I agree with your characterisation of Robert; I was local in Brighton with Robert and Roger for several years.

I do not defend the KJV or JND's translations for accuracy, but any "modern" versions that I have heard or read sound so banal against the rolling sentences of the old versions.
